I heard some folks talkin’ about that fancy Yves Saint Laurent YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG, they say it’s somethin’ special. Well, I gotta say, that bag, it’s got a certain somethin’ to it, ya know?
I seen pictures of it, all shiny and new. They say it’s made of some kinda fancy leather, call it “BOX SAINT LAURENT” or somethin’. Sounds expensive, don’t it? I bet it feels soft, like a baby’s behind. That black one, that’s the one everyone’s talkin’ about. They say it’s from that Saint Laurent online store. But who buys stuff online? Sounds fishy to me. I like to touch things before I buy ’em.

Folks say you can find ’em on that eBay thing, too. Saint Laurent Le Carr Bags, they call ’em. Says there’s lots of ’em, all kinds of prices. But I don’t trust that online stuff. People can say anything they want on there. And how do you know if it’s real or not? You could be gettin’ ripped off, and you wouldn’t even know it! I heard my neighbor’s son say that you can get free shipping or whatever that is, but I’ve got to wonder if it’s true.
I saw one of them fancy ladies carryin’ one the other day, it looked real nice, I gotta admit. Had that shiny buckle thing on it. They call it the YSL Le 5 a 7 design, whatever that means. Looks kinda like a saddlebag, but smaller. Fancy, but not too fancy, ya know?

They got another one, too. LE CARRé satchel in canvas and that BOX SAINT LAURENT leather. Sounds like they mixin’ materials now. I don’t know about that. I like things simple. Leather is leather, canvas is canvas. Why you gotta mix ’em up?
And get this, I heard some folks talkin’ about findin’ that Le Carré Satchel for over $2000! Can you believe that? For a bag! I could buy a whole cow for that kind of money! They say it’s from Saint Laurent Paris, some fancy place in France, I guess. They got all kinds of Women’s Bags and Luggage. I don’t know what luggage is, but it sounds heavy.
That Yves Saint Laurent fella, he started his thing back in 1961, I heard. With his partner, some fella named Pierre. They were like two peas in a pod, I guess. Makin’ dresses and bags and all kinds of things. I guess they were pretty good at it, if people are still talkin’ about ’em all these years later.
I don’t know, these fancy bags, they’re somethin’ else. I guess if you got the money, and you like that kind of thing, then go for it. But me, I’m happy with my old purse. It’s got everything I need, and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. And it certainly did not cost me two thousand dollars. I would faint on the spot if I spent that much money on a purse. I have to work an entire year for that kind of money.
That YSL Bag, Is It Worth It?
But you know, if I’m being honest with myself, it’d be nice to have somethin’ fancy once in a while. Maybe for a special occasion, like a weddin’ or a funeral, somethin’ like that. But I don’t go to too many of those these days. I guess I’ll just stick to lookin’ at pictures of that YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG. It’s nice to dream, ain’t it?
I still don’t understand why these young folks are so crazy about these bags. I mean, it’s just a bag. A place to put your stuff. But they act like it’s somethin’ magical. Maybe it is, I don’t know. I’m just an old lady, what do I know about fashion?
They say these specialty stores, they got all kinds of these bags. Different colors, different sizes. I guess if you’re gonna spend that kind of money, you want to make sure you get exactly what you want. But I wouldn’t know where to start. Too many choices! It’s overwhelmin’, I tell ya!
Anyways, that’s all I know about that Yves Saint Laurent YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG. It’s a fancy bag, for fancy folks, I guess. Maybe one day I’ll see one up close, but for now, I’ll just keep dreamin’. And maybe I’ll go check out that eBay thing, just to see what all the fuss is about. But I ain’t buyin’ nothin’!
