Okay, so today I’m gonna try to remake the PRADA Soft Padded Re-Nylon Mini-Bag. I saw it on the official flagship store, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” It looked pretty cool, and I’ve been itching to get my hands dirty with a new project.
First things first, I gathered all the materials. I managed to find some re-nylon fabric that felt pretty close to the original. It’s supposed to be this eco-friendly stuff, which is a nice bonus. I also got some padding material to give it that puffy look. Then there were the zippers, the metal logo, and the strap – all the little bits and pieces that make up the bag.
The first real step was cutting the fabric. This was a bit tricky because I didn’t have an exact pattern. I used some old bags as a reference and sketched out a rough shape on the re-nylon. I made sure to cut a little extra, just in case I messed up later. I really took my time with this because I didn’t want to ruin the expensive fabric.
After cutting, I started sewing the main body. I used my trusty old sewing machine, which I’ve had for years. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done. I carefully stitched the pieces together, making sure the seams were straight and strong. It was a bit like putting together a puzzle, but with fabric and thread. I pinned the padding to the inside of the fabric before sewing the main pieces together. This was to make sure the padding stayed in place and gave the bag that signature soft, puffy look.

Finally, I checked everything over. I inspected all the seams, made sure the zipper worked perfectly, and checked that the logo and strap were secure. It looked pretty good, if I do say so myself! The final step was giving it a good once-over to make sure everything was perfect.
Stepped back and admired my work. It wasn’t exactly like the one from the official store, but it was pretty darn close. It felt amazing to hold something I made with my own two hands. Plus, I saved a ton of money by making it myself!
