Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing the Rolex Deepsea 116660 for a while now. You know, the big boy, the one that can practically go to the bottom of the ocean. But the price tag? Ouch. So, I thought, why not try a high imitation? I mean, who’s gonna know, right?

Unboxing Time
Man, I was excited. I ripped open that box like a kid on Christmas morning. And there it was. The watch was packaged nicely. I picked it up and I felt a decent weight, that felt good, it didn’t feel cheap. The stainless steel looked pretty good, and the dial, well, it looked like a Deepsea dial to me.
I started playing around with it. Setting the time, winding it, you know, the usual stuff. The movement felt okay, not as smooth as a real Rolex, but hey, what do you expect, right? I put it on my wrist. It felt comfortable enough, maybe a tad too big, but that’s the Deepsea for you.

Now, I’m not saying this is as good as a real Rolex. Of course, it’s not. But for the price, it’s a pretty darn good imitation. If you want the look of a Deepsea without breaking the bank, this might be the way to go. Just don’t go diving with it, okay? Anyway, that’s my experience with a high imitation Rolex Deepsea 116660. It’s not perfect, but it’s a fun little experiment, and it definitely scratches that luxury watch itch without emptying my wallet.
