Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another one of my little projects. So, I’ve been eyeing this Fendi Vitello King F is Fendi Logo Embossed Mini Mon Tresor Bucket Bag for a while now. I mean, who hasn’t? It’s a classic, right? But the price tag? Oof, not so classic. So, I thought, why not try to make one myself?
First things first, I needed to gather my materials. I went on a bit of a scavenger hunt, hitting up all the local stores and browsing online to find the right leather. I wanted something that felt as luxe as the real deal, you know? After a lot of searching and feeling up different leathers, I finally found a piece that I thought would work.
Next up was figuring out the whole “F is Fendi” logo embossing thing. This was tricky. I watched a bunch of videos, tried a few different techniques, and messed up a couple of times, not gonna lie. I bought some tools that were supposed to make it easier, but honestly, it still took a lot of trial and error.
- Sourced the perfect leather – check.
- Figured out the embossing – double-check.
Then came the actual construction of the bag. I’m not gonna pretend I’m a master craftsman or anything, but I’ve dabbled in a bit of DIY before. I sketched out a rough pattern, cut out the leather pieces, and started stitching. It was slow going, and I definitely made a few mistakes along the way. My fingers were sore, and I might’ve cursed a few times, but I kept at it.
Putting it all together was a bit nerve-wracking. I wanted it to look like the real deal, not some wonky homemade project. I added the drawstring closure, the little metal details, and finally, the strap.
And you know what? It actually turned out pretty good! It’s not perfect, obviously. There are a few imperfections here and there, but overall, I’m pretty proud of it. It’s got that Fendi vibe, it’s a decent size, and it actually holds my stuff.
The Final Product
It may not be a “perfect” copy, but I learned a lot during this whole process. I learned that making your own version of something, with a touch of personal style, can be really rewarding. Plus, it’s a lot easier on the wallet! I might try tackling another designer-inspired project in the future. Any suggestions? Let me know in the comments!
Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed this little adventure of mine. It’s always fun to share these experiences with you all. Till next time!
