Okay, so, I’ve been wanting a Rolex GMT-Master II “Batman” for a while now. You know, the one with the black and blue bezel? It’s a pretty popular watch. I mean, who wouldn’t want a real Rolex, right? But the price tag… ouch! It’s over Php765,061 in the Philippines. Way too much for me.
So, I started looking for, let’s say, “inspired” versions. I went down the rabbit hole of online forums and discussions. I found a bunch of people talking about this “Clean Factory” that makes a really good imitation of the Rolex GMT II. There was even talk about which version is the best “Batgirl,” which I guess is another nickname for it.

I saw some for sale online, some listed around $14,750, but those were the real deal. I was looking for something much, much cheaper. I mean, I just wanted the look, not the actual Rolex price tag, you know?
There are other brands out there that make similar-looking watches, like Timex. They have one called the Allied Three GMT that’s not bad, and it’s way more affordable. But it’s not the same, you know? It’s not that close to the “Batman” look I wanted.
So, I kept digging. Finally, I found a seller online who had the Clean Factory version. It took me a while to find someone I thought I could trust. I checked their reviews to see if they sold other items besides this watch. I asked them a bunch of questions.
After some back and forth, I finally decided to go for it. I ordered the watch. It felt a little risky, to be honest, buying something like this online. But I was excited!
A few weeks later, it arrived. And you know what? It’s pretty darn good. I mean, it’s not a real Rolex, obviously. But for the price, it’s amazing. It has that black and blue “Batman” bezel, and it feels solid and well-made.
So yeah, that’s my story of getting a high imitation Rolex GMT-Master II “Batman”. It wasn’t a quick process. I had to do a lot of research, and I was a little nervous about buying it. But in the end, I’m happy with it. I finally got the look I wanted without having to sell my car or anything. And, hey, it’s a great conversation starter!
Did I get the real deal? Nope. But am I happy with my “Batman” watch? You bet!
