This thing, this watch, it’s called what, high imitation Rolex? My grandson, he’s always talking about these fancy things. This one, it’s blue, and gold, kinda shiny. He says it is a two-tone blue Submariner. Original order, he kept saying. Sounds important, I guess.
This Rolex, it’s heavy. Not like those cheap things you get at the market. This one, you feel it on your wrist. Like you’re wearing something, you know? It has some number on it, 40, and some lines, like on a ruler. 1.57 inches, whatever that means. Big, but not too big. Fits just right, my grandson says.
Blue and Gold, Shiny
He said this watch, it costs a lot. More than a thousand, I heard. More than we paid for that old cow last year! Can you believe it? For a watch! But he says it’s a good one. This two-tone blue Submariner. He likes the blue, says it’s better than black. I don’t know, blue, black, they both tell time, right?
