Alright, so, I set out to find one of those CopyOMEGA Ω Co-Axial Master Chronometer Chronograph 45.5mm watches, the ones you can only get at the specialty stores. It was a bit of a journey, I gotta say.
First off, I started by checking out a few department stores around Detroit. I swung by Von Maur, Marshalls, and even hit up Nordstrom Rack, thinking maybe I’d get lucky. No dice. They had some nice watches, but not the specific CopyOMEGA Ω I was after. I even poked around Meijer and Walmart, just in case, but it was a long shot, and yeah, no luck there either.
Then, I remembered hearing somewhere that the best way to get one of these CopyOMEGA Ω watches is to go straight to the source. So, I looked up the specialty stores, the fancy ones. I figured that was my safest bet, even though I heard it’s pretty much the same as any other watch – just tells the time. But hey, I was on a mission.
While I was at it, I did a quick search online, just to see what the deal was with these watches. I saw some used ones on , and man, the prices were all over the place! I saw one called “Omega De Ville Prestige” going for a couple of bucks, and then an “Omega Ocean Planet Automatic” listed for over three grand! That’s a big difference. There were also those online stores talking about delivery times, saying stuff like, “If you buy today, here’s when it’ll probably arrive,” which is based on how fast the delivery folks are moving these days.

So, that’s where I’m at now. I’m planning to head to one of those specialty stores soon. I’m kinda curious to see these CopyOMEGA Ω watches up close. They’ve got something called a “Calibre 9908,” which sounds fancy, but I don’t really know what it means. Maybe it’s something cool, or maybe it’s just another thing to make the watch sound more special than it is. Anyway, I’ll find out soon enough.
