So, I saw this thing online the other day about remaking a PRADA Tessuto Nylon Backpack. Yeah, you heard that right, a PRADA backpack. I mean, I’ve always liked those bags. They’re simple, you know? Not too flashy, but still kinda classy. And it got me thinking, maybe I could try to make one myself?
I started by looking up what the heck this bag even was. Turns out, it’s called a “Nero Nylon Tessuto” something. Fancy, huh? It’s basically a black nylon backpack with a little silver triangle logo thingy. There’s some leather here and there, a handle on top, and two straps to wear it on your back. Oh, and a bunch of pockets on the outside, four to be exact.
First, I tried to find a similar backpack. After checking a lot, I finally found one in blue instead of black. It’s got that same nylon stuff and the silver thingamajigs. Same handle, same straps, same four pockets. This one seems like a good starting point.
Now, about that logo. I saw some girls, like, the famous ones, Kendall, Sofia, and Bella, they all have bags with this logo. It’s a triangle with “PRADA” written on it. I tried looking up where to get one of those. I tried to find the metal logo in those used stores, but no luck.
I did some more digging. I found out that these nylon bags are a big deal for Prada. They even have something called “Re-Nylon” now, which is like, eco-friendly or something. They use it for all sorts of stuff, not just bags.
Then I thought, how the heck do you even clean these things? I found a tip online that said to use a bit of soap in cold water. You dip a cloth in it and just wipe the bag. Seems simple enough.
I was curious about other Prada bags too. Turns out, they have this one called the “Galleria,” which is like, a super classic one. It’s made of this special leather they call “Saffiano.” Looks pretty neat, but I was more interested in the backpack.

My Takeaway
This whole thing was quite an adventure. I went from just seeing a picture of a bag to actually trying to make something like it. I learned about different types of bags, materials, and even how to clean them. It was fun, and I feel like I accomplished something, even though it wasn’t exactly what I set out to do.
