Okay, let’s talk about watches today. I’ve been messing around with these things for a bit, and I recently took on a project to make an imitation of the Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Polaris Chronograph. It’s a really classy-looking watch, and I thought it would be a fun challenge to see if I could pull it off.
First, I gathered all the parts I needed. This was probably the hardest part of the whole thing. I spent hours searching online, going through forums, and even contacting a few sellers directly to find decent replica parts.

Working on the Dial

Fixing the case
- The case needed some work too. I used a small polishing tool to buff out some scratches and give it a nice shine. It’s amazing what a little polish can do.
Final Steps
Finally, I put it all back together. Screwed everything in tight, made sure the crown was working properly, and gave it one last polish. I have to say, I was pretty darn pleased with how it turned out. It wasn’t perfect, of course, but it definitely captured the look and feel of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph.
